    ​“The First Steps to Achieving Entrepreneurship” a training program at Asharqia Chamber​

    Asharqia Chamber, represented by the Women Empowerment Center, in cooperation with the Social Development Bank, organized a training program that reviewed important themes looking at “the first steps to achieve entrepreneurship” presented by the project finance specialist at the Social Development Bank, Ali bin Abdul Karim Al-Muhaisen.

    During the program, which was held on the evening of Monday, October 25, 2021, Al-Muhaisen said that the term self-employment is used to match the job​ When a person depends for his income and means of living on businesses that he owns in part or whole and he is not employed by anyone or an institution, then he is a self-employed owner, indicating that the personal project is an organized activity in which he invests money, efforts,, and technology to reach a specific goal.

    Al-Muhaisen explained that self-employment requires several skills that must be in the investor or the owner of the project to be helping factors for success, such as determining the beginning with high accuracy, paying attention to quality, price,, and specifications that satisfy the customer, working to rationalize expenses so that revenues can be controlled, marketing attention, and placing A complete work plan before the start, and persistence and perseverance, pointing out that a pioneer is an innovative person who practices change in the markets by providing products in new styles and methods.

    Regarding the elements of a good project, Al-Muhaisen said: In order for the project to be evaluated as successful, one of the following elements must be introduced: a new product, service, feature, or new technology, and secondly, the better product related to improving the product or service through more features or lower price, higher reliability, greater speed and compatibility Increasing, third, untapped or new market, which means trying to find a market that has greater requirements than competitors can meet, such as an untapped market or a site where services are not available, and fourth, a new delivery or distribution process through which the least expensive products or services are provided to a wider geographical area Or with more options, and fifth, the increasing integration, which is represented by the manufacture and sale of a product or the presentation of more services and products in one site.​
